WHAT ARE THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS?
Our system can be installed on almost any surface. Old coverings such as carpet, vinyl or linoleum are removed before installation to ensure adhesion between the Rheingold tread elements and old treads. Worn out wooden treads are straightened in advance with a levelling compound if they are too worn down.

Slipping, tripping or misstepping are very common in our everyday lives. A significant part of this is Falling accidents on stairs. In addition to appearance, your personal safety is of great importance to us. Our textured surfaces have an anti-slip effect. Step-illuminating LEDs provide additional safety. Can open Stairs also be renovated?
Open stairs can be renovated if it is a staircase where the old treads are embedded in the stringer (composite board for side covering). During renovation, the steps can be completely covered. The stringer (composite board for side covering) and railing can be redone in colour if desired. The LED step-illumination cannot be installed on these types of stairs.

The duration of the installation depends largely on the renovation project. For full renovation including LED step-illumination, railings, treads and risers and stringers (composite board for side coverings), you should estimate at least five days. Please keep in mind that a staircase renovation is a custom job. Each building element we supply is customized and made to measure on site.
IS STAIRCASE RENOVATION / STAIRCASE REFURBISHMENT RECOMMENDED for COMMERCIAL OR MULTI-FAMILY BUILDINGS?
Yes, no problem. For renovations of this type, we recommend our Nature series. The surface of this collection, the "Purline" design covering from the renowned company Windmöller GmbH, has excellent product features and is recommended, among other things, for installation in apartment buildings or in commercial properties.

In theory, this is quite possible. However, it requires possession of extensive tools and profound craftsmanship. The installation of the railing alone is a feat for professionals only. We recommend that the renovation be carried out by a competent and trustworthy company of your choice.

Your new staircase will be created step by step. The assembly times for this may vary. Considering that the staircase is custom-made, you should allow for an installation time of about three to five days.
